Jefferson PVA's Newly Redesigned Website Garners Prestigious WebAward
Louisville, KY (September 27, 2006) - The Jefferson County Property Valuation Administration is proud to announce that they have been honored with a 2006 Government Standard of Excellence WebAward from the Web Marketing Association. The award recognizes the standard of excellence for which all web sites should strive.
The new website was designed by LeapFrog Interactive, a Louisville-based interactive agency specializing in online brand management. Launched in April 2006, the new site features an easy, practical and user-friendly design. It provides convenient access to property data and offers clear and concise information about the PVA office. Visitors to the site can search for a property's assessed value, its parcel identification number and its current owner. Property owners can also download informative brochures and commonly-used PVA forms and applications, including the popular homestead exemption. Users can even watch an online video describing the assessment process and PVA responsibilities. LFI President and CEO Daniel Knapp said "We knew that the new site offered a feature-rich user experience which goes far beyond the typical government agency site. It's great to have that standard of excellence confirmed by the Web Marketing Association." More than 2,300 web sites from 35 countries were judged in 96 industry categories during this year's WebAward competition. Judging was based on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.About The Jefferson County Property Valuators Administration
