

Interactive Web Programmer/Developer, Level IV
Overview
This is a full-time web programming/development position in a fast-paced interactive agency environment. This person will be responsible for web-application programming, providing accurate programming effort estimates, rich media development, and advanced technology implementation. This person's time will be spent approximately 70% coding, 10% QA, 10% Documentation Writing, and 10% planning and consulting.
Work Characteristics:
Communication: Excellent oral and written skills are vital for success. This position requires interaction with clients and internal staff via conversations, phone calls, emails, and letters. Additionally, the ability to create superior technical documentation is paramount.
Organization: This person must be detail-oriented and extremely organized. This person must be able to properly prioritize their workload, accurately estimate their effort, and manage their time.
Environment: Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, collaborative agency environment. The person will work on many tasks throughout a week and must be able to mitigate distractions with minimal frustration.
Motivation: Must have the ability to identify needs, take action, and solve problems. Must have a desire to work independently on certain tasks and assignments.
Goals: Must have the ability to take a responsibility to the point of completion. Must be thorough and complete. Attention to deadlines is critical.

Confidence: Many assignments will require interaction with LeapFrog employees, external vendors, or clients.
Required Capabilities:
- Three to four years strong work experience in software / application / web development
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Prioritize and manage time
- Ability to accurately gauge and estimate time required to complete tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, collaborative team environment.
- Develops, modifies, writes and implements user interface for small to large scale web sites and applications
- Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them
- Experience in development QA testing
- Documentation Application/User Documentation, Technical Documentation
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Ability to be proactive
Understanding and experience with/in:
- HTML, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS
- PHP
- MySQL or MSSQL
- MS Office
- Knowledge of Flash MX
- Knowledge of Internet browsers, on various platforms including, Windows and Mac OS X
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers
- Experience in working with IIS, Visual Studio .NET, ASP
- Experience working in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Framework
- Experience with enterprise development methodologies (MVC, etc)
Strongly Preferred:
- Knowledge of version control systems (specifically SVN)
- Experience in working with Java, J2EE applications, and JSP (Struts)
- Knowledge of or experience with Ruby on Rails

Salary Information:
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 depending on skill-set and experience
