Tommy Hilfiger finds e-results with LeapFrog Interactive's e-greetings
Posted on June 07, 2005
Tommy Hilfiger has hired LeapFrog Interactive to create interactive
e-greetings that will be used for the promotion of Tommy's spring
intimate collection. The Manhattan-based company has opted to use
e-greetings again after the success of Beyonc Knowles True Star
Fragrance Collection e-greeting that was released last year.
"We're excited that a prestigious national brand chose Louisville
for their interactive services, especially one as notable as Tommy
Hilfiger," said LeapFrog Interactive Creative Director, Alan Gilleo,
"The impact interactive technology has on a national brand is colossal.
Our project will have an extremely high level of exposure."
LeapFrog Interactive is designing and creating interactive
e-greetings that will be included in Tommy's HTML Newsletter, website,
and other e-materials. The e-greeting will reach 600,000 e-mail users.
The functionality of the e-greeting allows end-users to mix and match
Tommy's product, make purchases, as well as visit the main Tommy site.
The end-users can also forward the e-greeting on to a friend. Tommy
expects 500,000 people to return to their site after viewing the
e-greeting.
"Tommy cares about their consumer base, so they try to stay in close
touch with them. Interactive marketing, being a two-way medium, allows
this to happen," said Gilleo, "By using the proper messaging and
interactive tools, Tommy continues to build relationships with their
customers and continues to be successful."
As an interactive agency, e-greetings are one of the many services
LeapFrog Interactive offers clients. E-greetings are an efficient way
of permissively communicating with customers in a timely and direct
manner. Businesses may use the e-greetings to promote company products
and/or inform customers of current company news. Also, customers may
link back to the sending company's website. Other interactive services
include: e-retailing, websites, e-promotions, rich media, permission
e-mail, and search engine marketing.
